Junior Tennis at KCTC

Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club (KCTC) has a vibrant and welcoming junior tennis programme, providing young players of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy tennis in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Junior tennis is an important part of our club, with coaching sessions running up to three days a week, led by highly qualified, experienced coaches. Our structured programmes are designed to introduce children to the game, develop fundamental tennis skills, and help more advanced juniors progress towards competitive play.

In addition to regular coaching, junior tennis camps are organised during school holidays, offering children a great opportunity to further develop their skills, stay active, and have fun with friends. The club also hosts junior social tennis events, providing a relaxed, enjoyable way for young players to meet others, build confidence, and play matches in a friendly atmosphere.

Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or is already an experienced player, KCTC offers a positive environment to support their growth on and off the court. Regular term-time coaching blocks run throughout the year, with group sessions organised by school year and age to ensure children receive appropriate coaching and make new friends along the way.

We recommend that junior coaching participants become members of KCTC, which encourages ongoing practice and the opportunity to use the club’s facilities outside of coaching sessions.

Our coaching team includes William Guiry (Tennis Ireland Level 3 Coach), and Bryan Stewart (Tennis Ireland Level 4 Coach) — ensuring all juniors receive expert instruction in a fun and supportive setting.
